CLINICAL TRAINING

Home CLINICAL TRAINING

At Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Group of Colleges, we are committed to providing our students with the highest quality education, particularly in fields that require hands-on experience and practical skills. Our Clinical Training program is designed to ensure that students gain the necessary expertise to excel in their professional careers, equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Structured Clinical Training Program:

As part of our rigorous academic curriculum, students are required to spend eight hours each day in the clinical area during the week. This immersive experience is critical to their development as competent healthcare professionals. The program is meticulously planned to align with course objectives, ensuring that students acquire comprehensive knowledge and skills in their chosen field.

  • Daily Clinical Exposure: Students engage in a variety of clinical activities every day, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios. This daily exposure helps them build confidence, refine their skills, and develop a deep understanding of patient care and clinical procedures.

  • Field Trips to Community Agencies: To broaden their understanding of healthcare delivery, selected field trips are arranged to various community agencies as per the course plan. These trips provide students with insights into different aspects of healthcare, including public health, community outreach, and social services. They also help students understand the broader context of healthcare beyond the hospital setting.

Training at Advanced Healthcare Facilities:

Clinical practice is conducted at some of the most well-equipped hospitals, which are known for their advanced facilities and comprehensive care across all specialties. These hospitals serve as ideal training grounds for our students, offering them exposure to a wide range of medical conditions and treatment modalities.

  • State-of-the-Art Hospitals: Our partner hospitals are equipped with the latest medical technology and infrastructure, providing students with the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and techniques. This hands-on experience is invaluable in preparing them for the challenges of modern healthcare.

  • Exposure to All Departments: Students are rotated through various departments, including emergency care, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and specialized units such as cardiology, neurology, and oncology. This comprehensive exposure ensures that they develop a well-rounded understanding of healthcare delivery across all specialties.
