- ANTI-RAGGING CELL

At Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Group of Colleges, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all our students. Ragging, in any form, is strictly prohibited on our campus and in the hostel, as it is a severe violation of students’ rights and well-being. We have implemented a comprehensive anti-ragging policy that ensures the safety and dignity of every student, fostering a harmonious and disciplined atmosphere throughout the college.
Zero Tolerance Towards Ragging:
Ragging is not only a criminal offense but also an act that undermines the core values of respect, dignity, and equality that our institution upholds. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, and any student found engaging in such activities will face strict disciplinary action, including possible expulsion from the college. This strong stance against ragging is intended to protect students from harassment, intimidation, and any form of physical or mental abuse.
Promoting a Cordial and Supportive Environment:
We believe that a positive and supportive campus environment is essential for students to thrive academically and personally. All students are encouraged to maintain cordial relationships with their peers, faculty, and staff, contributing to a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. New students, in particular, are given special attention to ensure they feel comfortable and integrated into the college community. Senior students are expected to act as mentors, guiding and supporting their juniors in their academic journey.
Awareness and Prevention Programs:
To further strengthen our anti-ragging measures, the college regularly conducts awareness programs, workshops, and counseling sessions. These initiatives are designed to educate students about the harmful effects of ragging and the importance of maintaining a respectful and inclusive campus culture. The Anti-Ragging Committee, comprising faculty members and student representatives, is actively involved in monitoring and addressing any concerns related to ragging.
Grievance Redressal Mechanism:
The college has established a robust grievance redressal mechanism to ensure that any incidents of ragging are promptly reported and addressed. Students can report incidents anonymously if they wish, and the college guarantees swift action to investigate and resolve the matter. The well-being and safety of our students are our top priorities, and we are committed to providing them with a secure environment where they can focus on their studies and personal growth.
